We are seeking a Farm Resilience & Infrastructure Specialist to oversee the critical maintenance, protection, and recovery of our agricultural assets. This role goes beyond standard farm operations, focusing on the "muck and gut" of land and structural resilience—ensuring our facilities, irrigation, and storage habitats can withstand and recover from environmental disruptions or system failures. Key Responsibilities
Site Remediation (Muck and Gut): Lead the cleanup of fields, barns, and storage facilities following disruptions, managing the removal of debris, damaged crops, and contaminated infrastructure.

Infrastructure Resilience: Inspect and maintain critical farm systems (irrigation, silos, fencing, and greenhouses), ensuring they are hardened against weather events and operational failures.

Habitat Restoration: Oversee the repair and rehabilitation of animal housing and storage structures, ensuring they meet safety, health, and structural codes post-disruption.

Resource & Equipment Logistics: Manage the deployment of heavy machinery, repair materials, and emergency supplies necessary to maintain or restore farm productivity under time pressure.

Operational Continuity: Implement mitigation strategies to protect livestock and harvest during crises, including emergency power systems and secure storage solutions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all restoration work and waste disposal activities comply with environmental, safety, and agricultural land-use regulations.

Record Keeping: Document all site conditions, repairs, and resource expenditures to support disaster recovery funding, insurance claims, and future improvement planning.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in agricultural management, construction, or environmental safety are highly preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in farm operations, agricultural construction, or disaster/site remediation.

Technical Skills:

Practical experience in maintaining and repairing farm equipment (tractors, pumps, irrigation systems).

Strong understanding of site drainage, soil management, and structural building practices for farm settings.

Familiarity with environmental health and safety protocols regarding chemical or organic waste handling.
